Mafia Regia is very concerned with the actual problems our world is going through, and we want to make things easier for our Mother Nature, but first of all a little bit of background on the issues we are trying to eradicate.

Earth is changing and we could see it on our daily life, everyday that passed is a missed opportunity to make things right. Human activities have caused serious problems to our ecosystems, starting with the destruction of thousands and thousand of natural habitats. Some of our actions are irreparable and is up to us to start being a positive factor for our future generations, because with this steps, we are just accelerating the destruction of our own home.

Climate change stopped being a natural phenomenon due to human activities. More than half of the population knows what does pollution stands for, but the percentage who know the terrible consequences that pollution could cause is pretty low. On the other hand, air pollution is caused mainly from burning fossil fuels, gases emitted by vehicles, and hydraulic fracturing. Water and soil pollution are caused mainly from industrial waste, and yes, plastic is one of them.

Environmentally, plastic is a growing disaster. It's made mainly from petroleum or natural gas, which are non renewable resources, and the extractions of this destroy fragile ecosystems. The manufacture of plastic as well as its use, pollutes the air, land and water.

Most of the time, plastic packaging ends up as a landfill waste and is regularly eaten by numerous marine and land animals, which cause them fatal consequences, regularly removing their life. Plastic have become also a municipal waste nightmare, and become ubiquitous in our terrestrial, aquatic and airborne environments, that means, that is everywhere.

That's why Mafia Regia undertakes responsibility on taking care of our Mother Nature, or at least not damaging it more. The use of cardboard has become the perfect replacement of plastic, which is a biodegradable material and doesn't affect our ecosystems. Nowadays, e commerce businesses are implementing cardboard on its packaging, and together we are contributing on stopping the deterioration of our own home, Earth.

If you want to be the change, start with yourself, be an example to everybody else, make people conscious about the actual crisis we are going through, forget plastic, forget materials that are pretty damaging to our ecosystems, start using biodegradable resources and as well as recycling non renewables materiales. That's the only way we can preserve our Mother Land.
